Sweet & Sour Soup Delicious like hot and sour but sweet


  • 3 cchicken stock
  • 2boneless chicken thighs cut into chunks
  • 1 cpeeled deveined shrimp
  • 1/2 ceach shredded carrots, & sliced shiitake
  • 1/2 ccubed firm tofu
  • 1 Tbspblack bean sauce
  • 1 csweet and sour sauce
  • 2 Tbsprice vinegar
  • 2 largeeggs beaten
  • 1 tspwhite pepper & sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsppotato starch
  • 4 Tbspwater
  • ·chives for garnish

How to Make Sweet & Sour Soup

  1. Add the chicken stock to a large pot. Bring to a boil, add the chicken pieces, shiitake, carrots, and tofu. Simmer 3 minutes. Add the black bean sauce, sweet and sour sauce and vinegar. Cook 1 minute. Add the shrimp and bring to a boil
  2. Slowly drizzle in the beaten eggs while stirring constantly. Mix the potato starch with the water and then mix into the soup to thicken
  3. Add the white pepper and sesame oil. Top with chives for garnish
