A guilt-free strawberry milkshake that both kids and adults will enjoy.
Ingredients
- 1 cup 2% milk, divided
- 2 cups hulled and halved strawberries
- 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice, or more to taste
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Step 1
Pour 1/2 cup milk into an ice cube tray and freeze until firm.
Step 2
Combine milk ice cubes, remaining 1/2 cup milk, strawberries, lime juice, and vanilla in a blender; blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Cook's Note:
I keep milk ice cubes in a resealable plastic bag in the freezer which makes this even easier to prepare. If you prefer your milkshake sweeter, feel free to add a little sugar, depending on the sweetness of the berries.
