Chicken hakka noodles Chicken hakka noodles is a dish of boiled noodles stir fried with vegetables, shredded chicken and scrambled eggs. These are seasoned with salt, pepper and sauces. This dish is originated by a small Chinese community of Hakka region.


  • 200 gnoodles
  • 1 mediumchicken breast
  • 2 largeegg
  • 1 tspred chilly sauce
  • 1/2 tspsoya sauce
  • 1 tspwhite pepper powder
  • 1/3 tspsalt
  • 1 ccabbage shredded
  • 1/4 ccarrot julienne
  • 1/4 ccapsicum julienne
  • 1/4 conion slices
  • 1/3 cgreen spring onions
  • 1/4 cbell pepper
  • 3 Tbspcooking oil
  • 1 tspchopped garlic

How to Make Chicken hakka noodles

  1. First boil the chicken breast and shredded. Next boil the noodles as per the direction given in the packet.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil and add the whisked eggs. Scramble them nicely and remove.
  3. Heat 1 teaspoon oil and fry the chopped garlic till ligh brown.
  4. Add onion slices, bell pepper and capsicum. Fry them on high heat flame for 30 seconds.
  5. Add cabbage and carrot and mix nicely.
  6. Add the scrambled eggs and shredded chicken with the vegetables.
  7. Add red chilly and soya sauce. Give everything a good mix over medium high heat flame.
  8. Now add the boiled noodles and spring onions.
  9. Add salt and pepper powder and mix them nicely. Stir fry them for 1 minute.
  10. Taste the seasoning and remove the noodles to serve hot.
