Ambrosia Old time favorite .. Think most southern folk know this one.


  • 1 can(s)pineapple chunks
  • 1 can(s)crushed pineapple
  • 1 jar(s)maraschino cherries
  • 1 ccoconut flakes
  • 1 cgrapes
  • 1 can(s)mandarin oranges
  • 2 ozsour cream
  • 8-10 ozwhipped topping
  • 1 1/2 cmini marshmallow

How to Make Ambrosia

  1. Fold sour cream into whip topping
  2. drain all canned fruits and cut cherries and grapes in half.. If you want ambrosia to be white make sure to allow cherries to drain well after cutting. Personally I like the extra cherry flavor and let it stain the mixture pink.
    Place in bowl with coconut
  3. fold fruit into cream mixture
    Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours
    You can freeze it as well in an 8×8 pan . cut in squares to serve
